Artist's Comments

I hate self portraits or painting portraits of existing people in general. However I wanted to try out some new things and used a picture of myself as reference. The outlines are roughly TRACED from the actual Photograph.

Everything else is just added freehand. Mostly done for fun and relaxation in about 20 Minutes. I plan to do a bit more in this mixed style. I was always fond of mixing plain flat coloring with semi realistic one.

It's an interesting self portrait, quite classy. The white outlines around your hair gives it a lot of movement.

ok nnooooowwww it makes sense... i never checked ur profile and until this pic i never realised u were female and it blew my mind at how well you (a bloke in my mind) could draw chick. it still blows my mind... you r an amazing artist... but i figure a girl should know a girls features alot better then a guy... on most parts of the anatamy any how :$

just in general ur work is amazing including this :)
