"Self control and self mastery prevent pleasure from killing the soul by suffocation. Legitimate pleasures are controlled in the same way an athlete's muscles are: for maximum efficiency without damage. Lust is the self-destructive drive for pleasure out of proportion to its worth. Sex, power, or image can be used well, but they tend to go out of control."

This is the first part of a series I am working on. Portraying the seven deadly sins with angels (sarcastic huh?

VERY AWESOME!!! and must say thank you alot im working on making creatures to depict the seven deadly sins my self. and i have gluttony and i was having trouble to make Lust to be honest but your pic and description really help me out alot so just wanted to say thank you to show my gratitude to you

The fiery loop evokes the contrapasso for the Lustful in Dante's Inferno. They are tossed endlessly in a fiery maelstrom as they succumbed to the storm of desire. Marvelous!
