I keep posting this here because it was actually after some recommendations from people here on DA that I decided to pick-up some of the programs I used. That leads me to believe that at least SOME people here are interested in working out ;)

Wow, that's awesome! After finding out some scary stuff about my family's medical history (Heart disease on one side, Type II Diabetes on the other) I'm finally working out regularly (my job has a free gym on the top floor.) I'm already much stronger than I was 2 weeks ago. (I've also already dropped a dress size!)
P90X is a little too difficult for me to follow atm (I tried it some time ago. I've found that baby steps work best for me-I have to sneak in new habits and they stick much better) but after reading about your success I hope to get to that level soon. I might start off with Power 90 instead. Right now I do a mix of cardio and circuit training.

I was going to say that Power 90 might be a good start. Or even slim in 6 (but I obviously don't know what level of fitness you are in right now) :)

Either way, already making the decision to change something and starting doing SOMETHING is a GREAT start :)

Yes it is! :D As for my fitness level, I'm getting stronger all the time. Still, even though I've had many "false starts" in the past, I consider myself a toddler learning this all over again as if I'd never stepped in a gym before. I'm going to be the tortoise that wins the race this time around. ;P

I'm going to have to get creative with my job situation, which also ties into my eating situation. The biggest problem I have is at both jobs, most of the time is spent SITTING. This leads to a little thing called BOREDOM. Even though I bring plenty of stuff to distract myself such as books, my drawing stuff, music, movies...and it's not enough. I always feel like I have to chew on something (which I can't do at the one job, since it involves profession tasting. Go figure.) And the healthy stuff such as fruits and veggies don't last long (as in longevity) and aren't as satisfying. (Not sweet enough, not salty enough. I'm used to extremes.) It's probably the worst habit I have to break, but I've broken a lot already so I know I will get there in time. I've stopped all soda and coffee, drink lots of water, iced if possible, cut out most dairy, etc. Can't quite kick the sweet tooth, but dried fruit seems to help a little. I'm a terrible grazer, so I just have to make sure that what I eat is at least somewhat healthy. It will get better as I go. Baby steps.

i was inspired by your story of success that i want to try it out myself... i got myself the p90 (cause my physical condition is -10 as of now, so i figured i should start with this one before going hardcore with the one you did) and i plan on starting out tomorrow as a birthday gift to myself.
I will keep on checking the blog, definitely.

I was very very inspired by your blog :) and all your story from the begining.
So I joined a pilates class and I went to a nutricionist.
So no more chocolate afternoons for me... I don't know if I want to thank you or not!! hahahaha :D
