..while I am waiting for my new wacom pen to arrive (spending time sketching traditionally instead) I am working my ass off (literally) with P90X. That program rocks!
I hope I can get in time to do everything I need/want to do per day. Hmm...everyday work, household stuff, working out, cooking AND painting. Yup, somehow I'll need to squeeze a few more hours out of a day..how about..like..30?
Not to forget I really should make a proper php journal, but I just can't be arsed (pardon my french).
I hope everyone is doing fine out there in the hyper space
EDIT: Since so many of you are interested in P90X I wanted to post a little youtube video a friend I met through the program made for me. One of the Yoga stances that you learn is called "Crane". It's a pretty advanced pose and I am super proud that I can hold it for a few seconds. However Norm shows in the little video what you'll end up with you keep practising
Oh and btw, if you are doing P90X and need a Coach he is a great guy and very knowledgeable and helping wherever he can with tips and encouragement. You can look him up here: www.teambeachbodycoach.com/nammie or just put in his coach number (44127) when you sign up.
So, here is the little video though: [link]

Why is it then that you want to cram more than you can fit in a day. you may be creating more stress than you need going, going, going all the time. The Merovingian(Matrix Reloaded&Revolution) said"If we never take time, how can we ever have time?" I think this is a great statement. Everyone is so super pumped about how they can exhaust themselves more than everyone else, like that is how success is measured. But before you know it you will be old and dying and realize you did a lot of meaningless stuff and really never took a moment to enjoy life.
Yoga has many forms. It is indeed about finding Zen but if you do it the first time you will be stiff, sore and lots of other things you didn't imagine. It's hard to explain. While Yoga looks very easy it is certainly not but once you get used to the poses you can focus on your breathing despite the fact that your body is working hard.
It's not about exhausting yourself with the crane - it's more about completely clear your mind and concentrating on what you are doing. That is in and itself very relaxing.
It's really hard to explain -.-
For example, doing those exercises are not meaningless to me at all. They help me improve my strength, my balance and my flexibility which in terms make everything else I do during the day much less straining and leaves me with much more energy by the end of the day. That again ends up with me having more time to do things I might not have had the energy to do before.
just want to encourage you to "stop and smell the roses, and maybe spend a day doing it instead of just a few seconds
And I agree - it has been too long. It will probably get me a while to get back into using photoshop and the brushes again.
