Woah, I got a hoardload of PMs about the art4love issue. Thanks a lot for the heads-up. There are a lot of pieces besides mine that I recognized.
It seems much more evident lately that people who actually don't do artwork themselves or artists who steal from others, make a shitload of money while the ones actually working their asses off are left out in the cold.

Karma is not always a bitch it seems..

Interesting little scam there, not the first one unfortunately. Googled him and seems all his sites are down. Good luck with the class action suit.

What I do not really get with this whole story, is what kind of product they can make out of low-res images. I mean, most of the stolen art, at least on DA, was never shown at a higher resolution than 1000 px (to the best of my knowledge). You can hardly print a 3" card with that !
So how could they claim (and sell) such prices and image on canvasses ?

The guy's facebook page has been emptied of all images except his logo. There is the promotional paragraph about the art, and that's about it.

I can't believe how many artists have been affected by this already!! There is a dedicated group on dA for art theft and it's a big storm over there, `alexiuss has been hit pretty bad and has started a donation pool to hire the best copyright lawyer on [link]

Must congregate to bring this guy down!! D:
